Recently a friend of mine has a family member with a spinal injury. very unfortunate event resulting in lower limb paralysis and a neurogenic bladder. he now requires 4 times a day intermittent catheterization. The choice put plainly by the doctors is intermittent catheterization versus indwelling catheter, obviously the latter is a lot more convenient, but highly risk of urinary tract infection.
